  Faux Finishers Contest

Roman is a proud sponsor of the "Michelangelo" award - a faux finishing award honoring outstanding artisans and faux finish projects. The Michelangelo

The awards program will recognize the craft and artistry of decorative painters in a number of categories and skill levels, to be determined by a distinguished panel of advisors who will also serve as judges.
While Roman is sponsoring the program, there will be no restrictions regarding the type or brand of products used.

Winners will receive both a special memento of their achievement, in the form of a sculpted bust
depicting Michelangelo, as well as a monetary award.

Details regarding entry requirements and deadlines will be posted in early September. Winners will be announced at the 25th Annual International Decorative Artisans League Convention and Expo, which is scheduled for July 21-26, 2010 in Portland, Ore.
